The website GOOD wrote up a small summary/response on another article written in the National Journal from July of 2010. Follow through to the National Journal article and read the various positions on identifying ineffective teachers.
From the NJ article, choose three (3) of the positions that capture your attention and write up a response referencing their positions and why you agree or disagree with that editor

CI Spring 2011: Welcome
This is the start of something new. Every week, I would like you to find two (2) news articles, dated within the week, on topics that we have discussed in class or possibly could discuss. This could be anything important that you deem necessary to talk about. Remember how class works, though: we must be realistic. Don’t bring me something about conspiracy or a topic that is questionable.
Instructions are simple:
1. From your Dashboard, Select from the top bar of options “Link.”
2. Give it a title (subject, title of article, something professional)
3. Post the URL (web address; ie: http://www.tumblr.com/….)
4. Add a description. In this description, you will need to:
* Give a brief summary of the article and topic in discussion.
* Include your opinion on the article and topic. No bashing! Nothing hateful.
* Be truthful, be real, and be respectful.
Once you have done this, Post! Since you are following me, I will receive your new post on my dashboard. If you have any problems, send me an email to the address at the top of my page. You know the drill.
